We can help.

Family Pharmacies Amelia, Cumberland, and Farmville are slowly receiving supply of the Moderna Spikevax Covid-19 vaccine. Immunizations are available for walk-ins, Monday through Friday from 9AM-5PM. Please call ahead to be sure that the vaccine is in stock before arriving. We also have the seasonal flu shot available for walk-ins. To save time when you stop in for a vaccine, click here to download and print the vaccine screening form and bring it with you when you come to the pharmacy.

Medicare Plan Changes for 2024

Did you miss the December 7 deadline to enroll in a Medicare plan? There’s still an opportunity to enroll. Please reach out to Kristen Guerra with Assist Insurance by phone at 804-889-2191, by email at kristen@assistinsuranceagency.com, or by making an appointment directly on this calendar.

There are significant changes to Medicare contracts for 2024, and Family Pharmacy is being forced into dropping some previously accepted Medicare contracts for 2024. This will affect a large portion of our patients. We encourage you to reach out to Kristen at her contact information above to have her review your options. You can also call your preferred pharmacy location to make an appointment.
